My Asics Kayano 15s & Me

Thanks for all the comments regarding my infatuation with my new shoes!

I'm happy to say that I still love them. I ran almost 3 miles today and they feel amazing! I felt no pain in my joints while running. My ankles and knees didn't complain at all after my run!

Saturday is our training group 10-mile run. This will be the true test of our love... through uphills & downhills... in dirt or on concrete... for better or for worse... if my Kayanos remain faithful, I will pledge my undying love.

At least until I wear them out.

Best thing about new shoes? As they get older, you can always regain that "first date" feeling - just spend $80-120 and buy a new pair. Few things in life work that way!

No joint pain! Ooh, it's great when all it takes is a new pair of shoes. May it continue through 10 miles and more!

Keep us updated on the shoes. I used to run in Kayano's all the time (13s, 14s). I recently "downgraded" to the 2140s only becuase I found the Kayanos were only giving me about 250 miles of wear to each pair. Made running pretty expensive.

I found with my 2140s, they took about 100 miles or so to start feeling really good. I like them now - but still not as much as the Kayanos.

Also, thanks for stoppin by my blog earlier today!
Asics...great shoe. Update us on how today's run went. I'm wearing the Asics Gel Evolution myself now.
